Composting with the TUBE is probably the easiest thing of all. The TUBE is buried directly in the garden bed or in your raised bed. The compost worms are fed with your green waste inside the tube and transform it into wonderful organic fertilizer on site, odorless. Your plants are continuously strengthened by the fresh hummus and are more resistant to pests. The earth is sustainably stimulated and supplied with life.

Nährstoffe
Am besten pflanzt du starkzehrende Pflanzen wie Tomaten oder Zucchetti in die Nähe der TUBE. Die Wurzeln wachsen zu den Löchern hin und holen sich ihre Nährstoffe. Zusätzlich verteilen die Würmer den Dünger in einem Radius von ±50 cm um die Tonröhre herum. Den fertigen Wurmkompost kannst du auch aus der TUBE nehmen und um andere Pflanzen verteilen.

Natur & Kreislauf
Im Kosmos der TUBE durchläuft dein kleingeschnipselter Abfall alle Stadien der Zersetzung. Mikroorganismen wie Bakterien und Pilze, Gliederfüsser und Würmer bilden das Nahrungsnetz im Komposter und sind Teil dieses natürlichen Prozesses. Die Umwandlung von Abfall zu beobachten und danach feinst krümelige, nährstoffreichen Humus zu ernten macht wahre Freude. Und erst recht, wenn danach die Tomaten auf dem Balkon vor Gesundheit und Früchten strotzen.
