Our Lilliy Ollas are specially designed for smaller planters – ideal forPots with a diameter of up to 15 cmIt's simply placed in the soil next to the plant and filled with water. Thanks to the natural porosity of the clay, it releases water slowly and evenly into the surrounding soil – and only when the soil isn't already moist, meaning exactly when the roots need it.

No overwatering, no wet leaves, no drying out of the soil– your plant takes care of itself. This is especially useful for herbs in the kitchen, small houseplants, or plants on the balcony when you're away for a few days or simply want less watering and healthier plants.

Tip for maximum watering time
For the longest possible autonomy, water the entire pot thoroughly before leaving—not just the olla. This way, the stored water in the substrate is used first before the olla becomes active.Fill the olla completely immediately before leaving.

It's best to test this principle in advance: This way you can find out how long your plant can survive with a filled olla under real conditions - depending on the location, container size and weather.
